Mae West's Lips by Salvador Dali

In 1930's, a rich British surrealist patron commissioned Salvador Dali to make a sofa. The result is a silk-and-wood sofa shaped like the lips of actress Mae West, whom Dali found fascinating.

Fast forward 80 years later, this is how my future living room will look like. But instead of Mae West's face projected in the background, it would be Kate Moss or Amanda Lepore who will fit the repro version of the lips similar pictured below. I've been dreaming of this lips sofa eversince and  I sort of forgot about it coz there wasn't really a need for me to shop for one. And yeah, I like it. Works, too, in an office, studio or a boutique.
