I was privileged enough to be assigned to 3 photographers representing different generations and was challenged by most-photographed faces as subjects. My first shoot was with master lensman Raymund Isaac and celebrity sisters Toni and Alex Gonzaga. Raymund veered away from his usual portraiture signature and explored 3D video effects for Toni and Alex. Niccolo Cosme shot my second lay-out with the flamboyant Ms. Tessa Prieto- Valdes. Niccolo is known for his post-processed digital art but for this shoot, he barely touched the photo and went minimalist. My third and last lay-out is with new blood BJ Pascual, whose fashion editorials consistently amazes me. For this shoot, BJ took moving images to capture different faces and never-been-done Tim Yap looks and edited it himself.
The turn-out of support is overwhelming that I got dizzy with the throng of people appreciating the photographs. Even the alcohol didn't help much to calm me down albeit numerous trips to the bar and finally taking fortress right next to it. From my vantage point, I saw lots of celebrity models in attendance. Magazine peeps were there, too. Gigee and Badaf Punk provided the background music which turned everyone in dancing mood. Guests were asked to vote for their favorite photo and Patrick Galang x BJ Pascual photo of a topless Mela de Luna had won the most votes.
