Iif you'd remember my post #000015 on Aloha shirts, say hi to Aloha tie spotted at Gilded Age s/s 2011 runway. The pairing with plaid neutralized it's gawdy feel making it relevant with a hint of tropical touch to casual khaki jacket and jeans.

Meet Alex. The band's guitarist. She's my first lesbo-crush only because she looks like La Roux. Heard she's a Cal carrie model. She's rocking this silver Levi's jacket. |

4 reasons why I loooove this picture: It's from Vogue Hommes Japan, it's styled by Matthew Joseph, Givenchy thorn necklace and it's really really fucking amazing!

There's an abuse of same print dressing going all over Tokyo now, not to mention this asian dude in Stockholm (above) donning checks head-to-toe. Of course, this is not an ordinary wardrobe staple but what makes this look work incredibly is how they play up with the details. Like how proportion of sizes of Union Jack prints are displayed and star studded vest on checks. It is also important to understand that this "loud" use of pattern is not about a lesson in matching clothes but an exploration on patterns as a walking graphic street art.
